Obedience Requires Loving Your Enemies
“Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.”
Were you ever just glowing and having a great day and someone tried to come and steal your joy. Continue to let your light shine. Treat that person with kindness and an open heart. Don’t let them bring you down. Maybe your joy might put a smile on their face, but don’t let it change who you are because they are bitter or having a bad day. I notice a lot of things we don’t like about others are the very things we wished we had. Do you know you can have those things? You just have to work for them. You can have anything your heart desires. Just remember don’t lose your focus and purpose in doing so.
Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with grace and joy. If I can be a blessing to others lord, I am willing and ready to be used. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to love my enemies even though this may be the hardest thing ever. I am ready to try. I need direction and guidance from you lord. I may mess up and make mistakes in the process, but I ask for your forgiveness and conviction. I love you lord with everything in me. Have your way. Thank you, Lord, for loving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
