Being Born Again

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, the will of God.

Read some of the  lyrics from, “The Greatest Part of Me” by group Virtue.

“Will I ever find the words to thank You

For all you have done for me?

On the cross You paid my penalty

From the grave You rose to set me free

And when I didn’t choose to love You, You

(You made the choice to love me)

I present my body as living sacrifice

Holy and acceptable to You.”

These words are so amazing. We should strive to thank God and his darling son Jesus who have sacrificed it all for us even when we sin, don’t love him, and sometimes we don’t love ourselves. I don’t want to go to deep. Being born again is not something that happens once. It happens every time God births something in you to change the world and make a difference in someone’s life. It is about the transformation from boy to man, girl to woman, daughter to mother. You should never remain stagnant in life. Each day God gives you the breath of life it means he still has a purpose for your life and still wants to use you in his will. It’s time for you to sacrifice for him.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me even when I didn’t love myself. Forgive me for all my past sins and understand that if I continue to mess up and fall short of your glory. Help me to focus on myself and improving my flaws and not focusing on other problems and what they are doing wrong. I promise to try to use each day as a learning experience to do better and be better. I need your strength and grace as I can not do it alone. Today I choose to present myself as holy and acceptable to you. Thank you for accepting me as your child. In Jesus’ name! Amen
