Sometimes it’s hard to determine when you have made a bad versus a good decision. I even wrestle with this from time to time. It is always great to make a wise decision versus a quick and irrational one. Make decesions based on past results, advise, trial and error, by doing research if needed and maybe seeking advice from a counselor or coach. There are many ways people make decesions.
