Daily Bread 3/8

Count it all joy when doors open and others close for you. We sometimes know its hard to let go of the past but you have to make room for the new blessings you are about to receive. This is not to say get rid of everyone in your circle when you gain a new friend. Let go of anything or anyone that is toxic and hindering your progress. Stay focused, this is your life and journey to live. You are the author. Write your story.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I truly believe this is true for me at a time in my life right now. I have been dealing with illness and overcoming it. God will cover me and provide for my every need. He is currently providing me with all the resources I need. I declare and decree: I am healed, I have and am purpose for greatness, and I will be successful! Limitless mindset! Let’s Go! Winning!!

  1. I have been preparing a list of ways to let go and move on. Your post has been helpful. While reading it, I was encouraged to share my list:
Accept the truth and be thankful.
    Distance yourself for a while.
Focus only on what can be changed.
Claim ownership and full control of your life.
    Focus inward.
    Change the people around you.
    Take a chance.
    Focus on today.

    1. Having an attitude of gratitude is definitely a life-changer. As an empath, I also have to distance myself for grounding or I will burn out extremely fast. Yes, take one day at a time. This is so helpful. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Thanks for these great words of wisdom.  As a hoarder of everything I find it impossible to let go of anyone.

This makes it so difficult for me to close a door to be able to open another one.

Your verse, all things work together… Is almost a challenge to me.  As I need to trust God and accept his will.

But I also agree that we shouldn’t get rid of people from our lives because someone new enters it.  I think that many people have done that and missed out on God’s full blessing that that person would have brought.  So when God opens the door it is just our job to walk through it.  It is not our responsibility to close it behind us.  That is God’s job!

    1. You are very welcome! All of is a process and there is no need to rush. We all have to handle our personal matters at our own pace. As you start to trust God, things will be revealed to you that only he could have brought you out of. Sometimes you may need help from someone and they may not be there. God is always there. Thank you for sharing with us. Blessings to you.
